We use this information to respond to inquiries, coordinate services and projects, provide customer support, and maintain business records.

How We Use SMS

EXL uses SMS for individual, non-marketing communications between customers and authorized EXL representatives, including our office administrator. Messages may concern customer questions, staffing requests, scheduling, project coordination, service updates, and other matters related to requested services.

We do not use this SMS service for advertising, promotional campaigns, purchased contact lists, or unsolicited bulk messaging.

How We Obtain Consent

Before initiating SMS communications, we obtain your permission through an email, written agreement, or another documented affirmative request to receive texts from EXL. Our consent request identifies EXL, explains the types of messages you will receive, and provides messaging disclosures and access to this policy.

If you initiate a text conversation with EXL, we may respond to your inquiry. Initiating a conversation does not automatically enroll you in ongoing notifications or unrelated messaging.

Providing a telephone number alone does not constitute consent to receive text messages. SMS participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services. We maintain records of consent and honor withdrawal of consent.

SMS Terms

By opting in, you agree to receive non-marketing customer service and project-related text messages from EXL at the number you provide.

  • Message frequency varies based on your inquiries and project needs.

  • Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. We will stop further SMS communications, except for a confirmation of your opt-out request.

  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

  • You may also withdraw consent by contacting EXL directly.

  • Messages may be delayed or undelivered. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

After opting out, you may continue communicating with EXL by telephone or email. We will obtain renewed consent before resuming SMS communications.

Information Sharing

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers supporting our communications may process phone numbers and message content solely to deliver and operate the service on our behalf.

Other business information may be disclosed to service providers as necessary to perform requested services, or when required by law.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information and restrict access to authorized personnel and service providers who need it for their work.

We retain information as needed to provide services, maintain business records, document consent and opt-out requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
